Julian Charrière - Panorama, 2011
Panorama is a project which consists of a series of actions taking place at different construction sites in Berlin. The action involves spreading chalk onto hills of extracted soil to reveal hidden Alpine landscapes. Photographic records of the works are also uploaded onto Google Earth to prolong this ephemeral site-specific action. Thus, just like in the real streets of Berlin, people can now randomly encounter these works, the view of which is not intended, virtually too.
